Overview
You can now save even more time by letting GotPhoto handle your color correction automatically when you upload photos to a job - it only takes a few minutes.
Please note: This feature is currently being rolled out gradually, so if you don’t see it in your account yet, it will be activated soon.
The service
In your job settings, you can now select Perfectly Clear's AI-powered Color Correction. Our partner delivers fast, intelligent, and skin true-color correction. Every photo is analyzed separately for skin tone and lighting to enhance colors while maintaining natural look.
On the job settings page, you’ll find the before-and-after example photos shown below.
The service can be applied for all photo types:
- Individual photos
- Group photos
- Composite photos
Supported files:
- JPEG or PNG images in RGB or RGBA formats
- Maximum 3500px on the long edge for best results
- Photo handling: Original photos in the albums will be replaced with corrected images in the same size and format.
QR cards and QR code images are automatically recognized and skipped during editing, and you won’t be charged for them.
Please note: Because each image is color-corrected individually, variations may occur between images, therefore this service should not be used if you plan to use our Sports Graphics service by Next Gen.
Turnaround time
For 100 images, the turnaround time is about 10 minutes.

How it works
1. You have two options to add the AI Photo Editing on upload:
- When creating a job, scroll down to the AI Photo editing on upload section and tick the Skin-aware color correction option. You can revert the settings at any time in your job settings.

- In your job settings, tick the checkbox for the AI photo editing. The blue View examples link allows you to review multiple before and after sample pictures. Ensure to save the job settings on the bottom left of the page.

- Upload your images via your preferred upload method.
If you use the web upload, please note that the initially displayed estimated processing costs in Photo Management also include QR card photos. At this point, the system does not yet recognize these photos as such.
The actual amount will be shown after the upload in the Image Editing tab.
Example: If 6 photos are uploaded, 3 of which are QR card photos, the estimated price displayed in the Photo Management tab will be $0.12 / £0.12 / CAD 0.12.
After the upload, the correct total costs ($0.06 / £0.06 / CAD 0.06) are displayed in the job's Editing tab.
2. Wait until all images have been fully uploaded and processed. This may take a moment.
All processed images are now marked with a purple sparkle icon. If not all photos show the icon, reload the page. Depending on the amount of photos, this can take a few minutes.
- If you used QR card tagging, you can now continue sorting your images (e.g. by filename) and ensure all QR card images are highlighted in green before activating the access codes. If you used Entagged, you're all set!

FAQs
Can I apply the service only to individual photos in a job?
Yes, simply turn the feature off in your Job Settings and save your settings before uploading the group or composite image(s).
Can I use the service if I use Entagged or SpotMyPhotos?
Yes, it works with all tagging methods.
What if I want to upload more photos to the order later?
You can simply apply the AI-powered editing service again. As long as the feature is saved in your order settings, the system will remember this preference.
Will more editing services be available during the upload process in the future?
Yes, we plan to expand the range of editing services during the upload process in the future.
Why does is say "Collecting" in my Photo Editing tab after the editing was done?
This is intentional. To avoid cluttering your Photo Editing tab, we keep the order “open” until you switch the job to selling, or for up to three days if no action is taken. After that, the order will be shown as "completed".
The takeaway
GotPhoto’s AI-powered color correction happens automatically during photo upload - no need to use separate editing tools. Just enable it in your job settings, upload your images, and let the system handle the rest.
