Special occasions like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Grandparents’ Day are the perfect opportunity to encourage customers to turn their cherished photos into meaningful gifts! To make this easy, we’ve added two ready-to-use email templates to your template section:
- One with a discount offer to drive urgency and boost sales
- One without a discount for a simple, heartfelt message
Pick the version that works best for your business. If you’re not offering a discount, you can skip Step 1 and go straight to customizing your template.

Step 1: Set Up Your Special Holiday Coupon (Optional)
Before sending out your emails, make sure to set up the special discount in your account to encourage purchases. If you choose to offer a coupon, follow these steps:
Here’s how to create your holiday coupon:
- Go to your coupon settings page (US/CA | UK)
- Create a new coupon and set the following details:
- Discount Code (e.g., GIFT2025)
- Discount Value (e.g., 10% off or $5 off)
- Expiration Date (e.g., May 12, 2025)
- Save the coupon and copy the details for use in your emails.
Once your coupon is set up, you're ready to start personalizing your email templates!
Step 2: Customize Your Email Template
You can find the email templates in the Communication section of your account, under the One-Time Message tab in the Template section.
Now that your coupon is set up, it’s time to personalize your email template! The templates are Mothers Day: Template 1 - With Discount (2025) and Mothers Day: Template 2 - Without Discount (2025). Simply duplicate your preferred template and replace the placeholders with your actual coupon details:
Step 3: Send Your Emails & Watch Sales Grow
Now, it’s time to send your emails and drive sales!
- Access your GotPhoto account, navigate to Communication, click into the One-Time Message tab and select Write Newsletter. Now you can select the email template under section 4 of your email marketing tool.
- Double-check that all placeholders are updated with your actual coupon details.
- Send it to your customers and encourage them to order before the deadline!
Pro Tip:
A sense of urgency can boost conversions! Highlight the expiration date to motivate customers to act fast.
