Overview

Manual Revision allows you to review and replace photos that have been ordered before sending them to production. This is ideal for providing high-res images, fixing cropping, or applying retouching. This feature is only available to users on a subscription plan.

Activating manual revision

1. In your photo job, go to Actions → Advanced Job Settings.
   
2. Scroll to Revise orders manually, select Enabled or Automatically, and click Save.
   
   • Enabled: All orders in this job go to Manual Revision.
   • Automatically:Only orders meeting specific criteria will enter revision, such as:
     • Image resolution too low
     • Original download smaller than 4000px
     • Download size > image size
     • Print product > image size
3. Manual Revision tab: Orders requiring changes will appear here.
   
   New interface: Manual Revision now also appears under the Orders tab in each job.
   

Filters in Manual Revision tab:

• Subject: Shows customer name
• Star Function: Pin important orders
• Revision Reason: Explains why the order is flagged
• Custom Products: Lists any self-fulfillment items

Adjusting photos

1. Click Adjust photo at bottom right of the photo.
2. Then, you can:
   • Adjust crop
   • Add photo effects
   • Upload a new high-res or retouched image
3. 
4. Click Save to apply your changes.

Releasing orders for production

When finished, go to the Order page and click "Release this order for production" at the bottom right.

Replacing images for multiple products

Use the Review Order link to replace the same image across multiple products (without changing crop).

Images replaced here are also updated in Photo Management.

⚠ Important: If you use the Review order feature, filenames must match exactly to be replaced.

⚠ Important: Clicking Confirm and Submit sends the order to the lab or batch processing.

Bulk image replacement

To update images across multiple orders:

1. Go to Manual Revision tab and apply filters
2. Select the orders you want to update
3. Click Replace photos
   
4. Upload your replacement files
   
   Please note: Filenames must be identical to the originals and unique in your account.
5. Track upload progress with individual and total progress bars
   
6. Click Release orders once uploads are complete

Troubleshooting

Getting a "Wrong aspect ratio" error?

This means the new image dimensions don’t match the customer-selected crop. To fix this, navigate back to the order page and use Adjust Photo instead of Review Order.
