Managing editing requests
You can request multiple editing services for the same job. Once one service is completed, you can request the next one.
- If combining Basic Editing with Background Extraction, request Basic Editing first.
- You may request Basic Editing or Extraction more than once. Before resubmitting, hide all previously edited photos to avoid duplicate charges.
- If you submitted a job too early, the editing request must be canceled in both GotPhoto and with the editing partner before uploading missing images and resubmitting.
- For Next Gen, use the Help Request workflow to order additional graphics.
- You cannot change job settings, Photo Management, or job status until editing is either completed or canceled.
The takeaway
The Photo Editing tab makes it easy to request professional edits within GotPhoto. Choose the right service for your job type, follow the best practices for sequencing requests, and use support workflows when needed to ensure smooth processing and high-quality results.
