Overview
Contact sheets are a powerful tool to help customers preview their images and encourage them to place orders. GotPhoto offers several templates and customization options to make this easy.
Requirements
Before you can create contact sheets, make sure to:
Generating contact sheets
- Go to your Photo Job and click the Communication tab.
[Classic Interface: go to the Selling tab instead] - Scroll down to the Contact Sheets section and click Create contact sheets.
- Select your preferred template. Templates labeled New are improved versions.
- Upload your logo (optional).
- [Optional] Add custom text (available only for specific designs: Portrait Full Page in the US, A4 Layout 2019 in the UK).
- Click Create to begin generation.
- Wait for processing to complete (can take up to 3 hours). Download from the Actions menu once ready.
If a job coupon is active when generating the contact sheets, it will appear on the printout. If the coupon expires beforehand, it will not be shown.
Advanced settings
- Quality (Normal, Medium, High): Use “Normal” to avoid delays or timeouts.
- Background: Choose a default or upload a custom PDF background. Ensure space is left for fields like names or codes.
- Maximum number of photos: Limit to 2 per sheet for best clarity.
- Show watermark: We strongly recommend enabling this option to protect images.
- Filter accesses: Optionally exclude customers who have already placed orders.
