Overview
Contact sheets are a great way to allow customers to view their photos and remind them to get their orders in. GotPhoto allows you to choose from several different templates and offers you a variety of ways to customize the design and the information that you print on your contact sheets. In this article, we'll review how to generate contact sheets in GotPhoto.
Requirements
To generate contact sheets, you must first:
Generating Contact Sheets
- Within your photo job, click into the Selling tab.
- Down the page, under Contact Sheets, click Create contact sheets.
- Select the desired template. We recommend using our improved templates which are marked as New.
- Include your logo.
- Please note that the custom text option is only supported for one design type: In the US, it is the Portrait Full Page sign; in the UK, it is the A4 Layout 2019.
- Click Create.
- Wait for the contact sheets to be generated (Note: Depending on the volume of your job, this can take up to 3 hours). Once complete, you can download them from the Actions button.
If your job has an active job coupon, the system will show it on your contact sheets. If you create the contacts sheets after the coupon has been expired, it won't be displayed.
Advanced Settings
- Quality (Normal, Medium, High) → We recommend Normal. Medium and High qualities may take a long time to generate and time out.
- Maximum number of photos → We suggest keeping this to a minimum; 2 is sufficient.
- Show watermark → We always recommend using a watermark for contact sheets.
- Filter Accesses → You can filter out customers who have already purchased.
