Overview
GotPhoto provides a default layout for your QR cards. However, you may wish to adjust this layout to better suit your business needs. In this article, we'll review the settings available for adjusting your QR cards.
Editing QR Cards
⚠ Important: If you have already generated your QR cards, you will need to delete and regenerate them after editing in order for the changes to take place.
In the QR Cards tab of your photo job, click on Edit QR card layout.
We'll walk you through the layout settings in more detail below:
- Template
The first step requires you to choose the template. Depending on your account, you may have different options.
- Settings
- Background image: This is the “look” of the QR card. If you decide to use your own background image, you should choose Custom.
- Your own background image (appears if you selected "Custom" background): Upload your custom background image as a PDF.
- Your logo (optional): If you have a logo, you can upload it here and it will appear on your card.
- Phone (optional): Add a contact phone number, or use this open text field to add an additional message to your customers. The character limit is 20.
- Email (optional): Add a contact email address, or use this open text field to add an additional message to your customers. Please note that there is a 30-character limit for this field.
- Background image: This is the “look” of the QR card. If you decide to use your own background image, you should choose Custom.
- Advanced Settings
- Language: If you want the information printed in a different language, you may choose from the available ones here.
- Website URL: If you are using DNS forwarding, you may place your own URL here for customers to see and visit.
- Output format: Choose if you want one or two cards printed per page. One is good if you are using the appropriate size paper, and two will need to be cut before being used.
- Output Order: Choose how you'd like the cards to be sorted.
- Stack sorting: If you are printing two cards per page, you can sort them in a way that makes it easy to cut and pile them together.
- Show barcode: In addition to the QR code, you can also decide to use a barcode. Useful if you have a barcode scanner, for example.
