Use filters in the Entagged app

Table of contents

Overview

With the filtering options in the Entagged app, you can easily manage subject lists and complex picture day setups. Filters help you quickly identify tagging status (e.g., "To-Do", "Done") and photo upload status (e.g., "Absentees", "Retakes"), especially when working across multiple sessions or makeup days.

How to use filters

To access filters, pull down on the name list in the Entagged app. You’ll see three filter buttons below the search bar: All, To-Do, and Absentees. These filters are available in both the Name List and Name List QR views.

  • To-Do: Tap once to view only untagged (un-photographed) subjects—these appear without checkmarks. Tap a second time to show only tagged subjects (with checkmarks). Tap a third time to reset to "All".
  • Absentees: [Optional] Ideal for Makeup Day jobs but usable in any job. Tap once to show subjects with no uploaded photos. Tap again to see only those who have uploaded photos (e.g., for retakes). Tap a third time to return to "All".

This dynamic filtering helps you focus quickly on the right group—whether managing absentees or staying organized across multi-day shoots.

The takeaway

The filters in the Entagged app let you manage your Name List more effectively and simplify Makeup Day workflows. With just a few taps, you can boost tagging accuracy and subject tracking.
