Step 1: Check your username and password
Incorrect login details are the most common cause of FTP connection issues. Follow these steps to confirm your credentials:
- In the admin area, click on your username in the top bar.
- Select Users and permissions.
- Click the Edit button next to your username.
- Your username and password will appear at the bottom of the window.
Step 2: Restart your connection
Sometimes disconnecting and reconnecting to the server fixes upload issues. In FileZilla, click the two highlighted buttons to restart your connection:
