Overview
Discover how to offer retouching services seamlessly with GotPhoto's Retouching Feature. This product appears in your customers' carts, allowing easy photo selection for professional touch-ups. In this article, we'll review how to set up retouching, as well as how it looks from your customers' perspective.
The Retouching Feature is currently in beta. Interested in testing out beta features with GotPhoto? Send us a message at [email protected].
Please note: The Retouching Feature makes it easier for your customers to select and purchase retouching, but it does not perform the actual retouching for you. It will be up to you to do the actual retouching after your customers place their orders.
How It Works
The Retouching Feature appears in your customers' shopping carts once they've selected items:
Once they've clicked on Add Professional Retouching, your customers will be directed to choose the photos they would like retouched. | Once the selections have been made, they will be added to the cart. Once the order is completed, it will be sent to Manual Revision for you to perform the retouching. |
Requirements
To utilize the Retouching Feature, you must be on a paid plan. The Retouching Feature is exclusively available in the New Shop Design.
Setup
The Retouching Feature functions as an add-on to your Price Profile.
On your Price Profile page, add retouching as an option under your a la carte items:
Once you have added retouching to your Price Profile, you can adjust the price accordingly as with any item:
Finding Your Retouching Orders
You will find orders with Professional Retouching under the Manual Revision tab. You can easily find them by searching for "Professional Retouching" under the Product's Name dropdown menu:
You can also download all retouching photos by selecting Photos for retouching under the Download Photos dropdown menu:
After performing your retouching, replace the photos via Manual Revision and release the orders for production.
The Takeaway
The Retouching Feature simplifies customer orders by letting them select and add retouching directly in their carts. While it streamlines selection and checkout, note that the actual retouching process is still manual.
