Overview
GotPhoto offers some basic editing services via our partner, Pro Image Experts. This guide explains the available editing options, how to request an editing job, key requirements, pricing, and turnaround time.
Editing options
Pro Image Experts offers 3 types of edits. Choose one or choose them all:

Essential requirements
To request basic editing, the following conditions must be met:
- File format: Images must be in JPG format.
- Job type: Editing is only available for School or Preschool jobs.
- Order of operations: If you're also requesting background extraction, basic editing must be completed before. View background extraction details.
- Reference photos: For cropping and enhancement, upload at least 5 style reference images.
Setting up your photo job for basic editing
Once requirements are met, follow these steps to set up your photo job for editing:
- Ensure photos are sorted and make necessary adjustments.
- Activate access codes to hide QR code images.
⚠ Skipping this step will undo culling edits as hidden images will reappear upon job confirmation. ⚠ - Go to the Photo Editing tab and click Continue under Basic Editing.
- Select the desired edits, review costs, and click to submit.
- Once submitted, the status will show as progress . You can't modify job settings, photo management, or status during this period. To cancel immediately after submitting, contact support.
- You'll receive an email notification once the edits are ready. Review and approve or disapprove the results under the Photo Editing tab.
