Overview
In addition to text, you can add all sorts of media to your GotPhoto shop and/or customer communications. In this article, we'll review how to add videos and PDF files. If you'd like to learn more about how to add images to your site or customer emails, click here.
Adding Videos
You can embed video files in your content by hosting them on a video platform like YouTube or Vimeo.
After uploading your video, look for an option called Embed. This will provide you with a snippet of code to paste into the HTML of your webpage or email.
For example, on YouTube you can find this code under Share → Embed:
You can then paste the copied code snippet into any text box within your admin area by clicking on the icon:
Adding PDF Files
You can upload a PDF via the File Manager page (Settings → File Manager, under Photo Handling):
Once you have uploaded the file, copy the Public URL provided.
On your webpage or email page, add a link by clicking the symbol.
Paste the copied URL into the text box that appears, and adjust the settings to your preferences:
