Manage customer newsletter subscriptions and reactivation

Overview

This article describes how to view and edit your customers' notification preferences.

When you send emails through our system - whether via automated campaigns or manual messages - each email automatically includes a link that allows customers to unsubscribe at any time.

Viewing notification status in the customer overview

You can check at any time whether a customer is subscribed to notifications:

  1. On the customer page, click Actions > Edit customer.

  1. In edit mode, you’ll see whether the customer is subscribed to all notifications.
  2. If desired, uncheck individual types of notifications.
  3. Click Save to apply the changes.

What happens if a customer unsubscribed last season but now registers again?

Re-registration is easy and can happen in three ways:

  • when signing up for photo day
  • through shop registration
  • or by importing a name list

Please note: Importing requires that you are authorized to use the imported email addresses. This notice will be shown before the import begins:

After re-registering, the notification checkboxes will reappear in the customer overview.

Summary

All emails sent include an automatic unsubscribe link. You can view and manually update each customer's notification preferences at any time in their customer profile. Re-registration ensures customers are reactivated, provided they’ve consented to the proper use of their data.
