This error appears when the number of barcodes scanned will not fit in your camera field, or if you ignore an error and tap a name or scan a code anyway. That will fail (red frame) and the error message may change to this.
To troubleshoot, please try the following steps:
- Restart your Entagged by turning off you camera, waiting 10 seconds and turning it on again. When the Entagged reconnects, before trying to send a code to the camera, check the displayed error message. If it is different than before, follow the steps described in the error message to resolve it. Find a list of possible error messages here.
- Make sure you are only tagging up to 3 subjects at a time. The Entagged system can only recognize up to 3 subjects in an image.
- Check that the USB connection is successfully established by troubleshooting with this article.
- Nikon and Fuji Users:
- Open your Entagged app and tap on the Entagged with a gear icon.
- Tap on your Entagged device name, and then tap on Settings.
- Scroll down the settings until you find the Code Field setting, then tap on it.
- Select "UserComment" as your new field.
If these steps do not restore functionality, please reach out to our Customer Care Team.
