Delete an Album or Job

Overview

Clearing up space on your digital platforms is a routine part of keeping things organized and making room for more amazing shots. In this article, we'll review how to delete albums and jobs.

Reviewing Used Storage Space

If you have a free or paid plan, you can find storage information at the bottom left of your dashboard.

If you have an Enterprise contract with us that grants you unlimited storage, this information won't be displayed. In case you need to know how much storage you are using, please reach out to our support team. Alternatively, you can use this link, that displays how much storage is used by each of your jobs and albums: US/CA, UK

Deleting an Album

If customers have already placed orders from the album: Do not delete the album until you have verified that the orders have reached the lab. Deleting an album before this will lead to the orders never reaching the lab.

To delete an album within a job:

  1. Open the job and navigate to the Photo Management tab.
  2. On the right-hand side of the album row, click the Album actions dropdown and select Delete album.
  3. In the following window, confirm the deletion.
  4. After deletion, the album will be moved to the Trash, where it will be automatically deleted after 7 days. You can view the trash by clicking on Trash at the top of any page in the Photo Job where the album was deleted.

Albums can be recovered from the Trash during this 7-day period by clicking the Restore button on the right-hand side. Afterwards, they will be permanently deleted.

Deleting a Job

⚠ Important: Unlike albums, deleted jobs CANNOT  be recovered. In addition, deleting a job also deletes all statistics associated with it. For this reason, we usually recommend deleting albums instead of a job.

To delete a job:

  1. Open the photo job.
  2. On the Settings tab, click the Actions dropdown on the right-hand side and select Delete this job.
  3. A warning will appear at the top of the page. Click Yes to confirm deletion of the job.
  4. Your job has been deleted.

Pro Tip: You can add and delete albums directly from EasyUpload. Learn more here

The Takeaway

Efficiently manage your digital space by deleting albums (and in specific cases, jobs). Follow simple steps to delete albums within a job, and exercise caution when deleting entire jobs, as they cannot be recovered. Utilize the bulk delete option for streamlined organization and maintenance of your digital storage.
