Welcome to the brand-new GotPhoto shop!
We've designed a sleeker, more user-friendly interface for your shop, making it even easier for your customers to order photos. We've also enhanced the GotPhoto system behind the scenes to ensure a smoother shopping experience.
We've put in extra effort to make the new shop design intuitive, clean, and inviting on mobile devices, as this is the #1 way customers order their photos today.
As we introduce this redesign in stages, some features may not be available right from the start. Not everyone will have access to the new shop immediately, but we'll notify you via email as soon as it's available to you. Rest assured, we're working hard to enhance your experience, and you’ll see both new and familiar features rolling out soon. Stay tuned!
Activating the New Shop
The new shop is currently available on a job-by-job basis. Once you have received the notification email from GotPhoto, create a new Photo Job from within your GotPhoto dashboard. Open the Advanced settings section, and tick the Use the new proofing shop box.
Please note: Once you have created a job with the new proofing shop setting, you cannot revert to the old proofing shop style for this photo job. Likewise, an existing job cannot be switched over to the new shop. To change your shop style, please create a new Photo Job.
Testing Phase
As this is a new feature that is continually undergoing improvements, we ask that you first create a test job to be certain that everything in your account runs smoothly. Please follow these steps:
- Duplicate your favorite Price Profile(s).We recommend adding the words "Beta Test" in the Price Profile name.
- Remove all personalized products.
- Remove all Green Screen backgrounds.
- Remove all Upselling options except for additional poses to single-pose package.
- Create your test job using the instructions above.
- On your Photo Job Main Settings page, do not enable favorite photos, yearbook selection, or ID cards.
- Add your duplicate Price Profile to your Photo Job.
- Upload some photos to your test job.
- Log in to your shop to make sure everything looks right.

Current Limitations
As we roll out this exciting new feature, we'll be introducing new elements in a staggered fashion. At first, the languages available will be English, German & French.
In this first phase, the following features will not be accessible:
- Public jobs (i.e. without access codes)
- Favorite photo and yearbook photo selection
- Shopping with multiple access codes from different jobs
- Price Profile Advanced Settings (i.e. mandatory package purchase, minimum order value)
- GotPhoto's Green Screen feature
- Upsell: Additional downloads with packages
- Offering free downloads
- Crop adjustments by customers (we recommend not offering any products in this first shop iteration that utilizes crop guides such us buttons, keychains, ornaments or any non-standard aspect ratio products if you don't revise orders in Manual Revision.)
- Photo effects selected
- Customers adding additional information for customization (e.g. trading cards)
- "My Account" section
- Wishlist
- Primary color selection
- Social Networks
- Google Analytics tracking
- HTML adjustments (i.e. the Expert Shop Settings)
- Registration form
- Registration for Picture Day
