Overview
Product packages allow you to bundle multiple products, print, gift, and digital, at a discounted rate, offering better value to customers and increasing your average order value. This article walks through how to create a package for standard jobs.
[Prepay only] If you're working with a Prepay job, refer to Create a Product Package (Prepay).
For strategies on what to include in your package, check out Product Package Strategies.
Set up a product package
- Go to Products & Prices and open the Product Packages tab.
[Classic Interface:] Click Settings > Product Packages - Click + Create product package.
- Name your package and click Next.
- Click Settings to open package options.
- [Optional] Complete these fields:
- Name: Shown in the shop.
- Internal Name: Not shown to customers.
- Brief description: Appears under the package name.
- Limit to one access: Prevents mixing images from multiple codes.
- Description: Full details shown in package view.
- Product image: Upload a 450×300 px image (6:4 ratio).
- Click Save changes.
- Click + Add Products to open the lab catalog.
Note: Product availability depends on the selected lab. If you switch labs, you’ll need to rebuild your packages.
- Select products using the Add button; use Remove to undo.
- Click < Back to product packages at the top once done.
- Update the Quantity field for each product.
- Use the "Available for" dropdown to set product visibility:
- All photos: Selectable from any photo in the gallery.
- Only individual photos: Selectable from subject-specific images.
- Only group photos: Only shown for team/class photos.
- Adjust Restrictions as needed.
Ticking Single pose prevents mixing multiple poses in one package. This only affects individual photos. Group/composite images follow default logic.
- Your changes are saved automatically.
Once created, add the product package to a price profile to define pricing, and link that profile to your photo jobs.
The takeaway
Product packages simplify purchasing, improve customer experience, and help increase your average order size. By setting them up once, you can reuse and link them to any number of jobs going forward.
