When communicating with your customers, don't forget to convey this key information:
Prepay:
- Make sure parents know how to log into your prepay shop:
- Include the URL to your prepay shop by using the "Link to your prepay website" ([Photographer.prepay_link]) placeholder in your communication profile or newsletter.
- Let parents know if they need to enter the job name or the access code.
- If it's an access code, add the "Prepay access code" ([Job.prepay_code]) placeholder in your communication profile or newsletter.
- Use the "Prepay deadline" ([Job.prepay_deadline]) placeholder in your communication profile or newsletter to let parents know when the ordering window will be closed.
Picture day(s):
- Let parents know when picture day is! You can use the "Picture Day" ([Job.date_shot]) placeholder in your communication profile or newsletter. Include any other relevant information they need to know to prepare for picture day.
- Make-up day: once you have make-up day scheduled, make sure to notify your customers of that new date(s).
Proofing:
- Make sure parents know how to log into your proofing shop:
- If you are using an access code for each child: each customer will have their own customized login link. You can easily incorporate it into your communication profile by using the "Customer's personal link to automatically login in" ([Customer.loginurl]) placeholder in your communication profile or newsletter.
- If you are using one access code for the job: make sure to share that code with parents.
- If you are doing yearbook photos, make sure parents know the deadline for them to choose their favorite yearbook photo.
-
Pro tip: If you want to use the same communication profile across multiple jobs, you can use the "Custom communication profile text" ([Job.custom_text]) placeholder for the yearbook photo deadline. Within each photo job's Advanced Settings, there is a field to add custom text to the job's communication profile using this placeholder:
