Dance Best Practices: Photographing the same kid with multiple costumes

Dance Photography is one of the segments where a subject can have more than one access code/QR card. In order to charge per dance or costume, you would create an access code/QR card per costume for each subject. If you would like to use one QR card (not charge per outfit), skip Method 1.

Method 1:

  1. Generate Access code/QR card for Subject A.
  2. Take a picture of Subject A’s QR card.
  3. Take pictures of Subject A in their first costume.
  4. (Subject A will go change to their next costume - during this time, you may photograph other subjects, or wait for Subject A to return)
  5. Take a picture of Subject A’s QR card again.
  6. Take a picture of Subject A in their second costume.
  7. Repeat this process for each costume Subject A has.

Method 2:

If you would like to generate multiple access codes/QR cards for a dancer, you can upload a names list that includes unique identifiers for that dancer. In the example below, you can see that Annabella Baker has 3 unique identifiers for three different dance groups:

When the QR cards are generated, Annabella Baker will have three QR cards. The process for photographing is as follow:

  1. Take a picture of QR card 1.
  2. Take pictures of Subject A in their first costume.
  3. (Subject A will change to their next costume - during this time, you may photograph other subjects, or wait for Subject A to return).
  4. Take a picture of QR card 2.
  5. Take pictures of Subject A in their second costume.
  6. Repeat until all costumes have been photographed.
