There are different ways to collect your Session or Sitting Fee. You can use a scheduling tool like Acuity
or Calendly, you can also collect the session fee through GotPhoto.
Option 1
1/ Create product under Production tab or under Own Products (please check this article to learn about the differences of these two areas) and name it Session Fee
Create a new price profile and only add the Session fee product to it.
2/ Create a public job and assign the Session fee price profile to the job.
Under Settings (top menu) > Pages & Menu (left-hand menu), click Create a new Page. Under Select page type, select Create page at Public jobs.
Add the title of your new tab on your website.
In your Session fee job, you can now select this website from the dropdown menu on the Settings page
This is how the tab looks like for your customers in your shop
In the communication profile of the job, set up one notification and use the trigger "After an order has been placed" to send out the link to your scheduling tool, once a customer pas purchased the Session fee product.
Now, got to Photo Management, create an album and upload an image with either your logo or any placeholder for the photo session.
That's how the session fee product will look like for your customers:
I'd like to offer parents a voucher in the amount of the Session fees, how can I do that?
On the Senior's job's settings page, add a coupon in the amount of the session fee so that it will be applied automatically to their order.
Option 2
Your customers can pay the session fee in a Prepay job:
In your Seniors job with the setting QR tagging with list of names, set up the Prepay settings, assign a Prepay price profile that only includes the Session fee product.
This is how the product will appear in your Prepay shop: Please be aware that customers can only redeem one coupon/ voucher per purchase. If the job has a coupon that it automatically applied to the order, and customers would add a second voucher code before they proceed to the checkout, their voucher would overwrite the coupon that has been created within the job.
Question: Can I use the Registration for Photo Day to collect the students' names and customers' data and also link my scheduling tool?
Yes, this is possible. Please this article.
