# The Shop Settings and Your Code Pages

### **Shop Settings page**
The Shop Settings page can be found by clicking into the **Online Shop** tab, and then clicking on **Shop Settings** in the navigation menu on the left-hand side.
Customers in the UK: You may notice that your settings look a little different right now. Don’t worry: starting August 17, 2026, you’ll see these same shop settings once all of your jobs are using the new shop.
**Please note:** We are currently rolling out the updated Shop Settings page. If your Shop Settings page looks different from the one shown in this article, don't worry, it will automatically update by August 10, 2026 for North American accounts and August 17, 2026 for UK accounts.
Let's review the different tabs on this page:
### **The Shop Settings Page**
The following settings can be adjusted on this tab (A video explanation can be found below):
1. 1**Cropping (Portrait):** Choose between Middle cropping (default) and Top-Down Cropping.
Your customers can still adjust the cropping as they wish in the online shopping cart.
In your online shop, this will result in the following differences per setting:
2. 2**Customer survey:** Ticking this box will generate a shopping experience survey for your customers after checkout. This survey is about the user experience of using a GotPhoto storefront, not about your particular studio. It helps us continually improve the customer experience in your shop.
3. 3**Purchasing steps:** Here, you can decide if you would like to show your customers packages or photos first, or let the system decide on a case-by-case basis which option would be more profitable
4. 4**Content protection settings:** These settings are displayed if you selected the new shop as your default shop for newly created jobs. ### **Your Code page**
Please note: The Code settings are currently unavailable in the new GotPhoto Shop and therefore cannot be modified at this time.
### **FAQs**
**Is it possible to disable the crop option so that parents cannot crop their images?**
No, this is currently not possible.
**Is the customer survey feedback collected after checkout only accessible to GotPhoto, or can I view the results as a shop owner?**
Feedback is collected solely for GotPhoto's internal use and is not shared with studios.
You can enable the customer survey in your Shop Settings to help GotPhoto gather feedback on the storefront experience after a customer checks out.
Please note that the survey is not about your studio, but rather the overall shopping experience with GotPhoto's storefront. This insight helps our product team continue improving the shop experience for your customers.
