When selling products in an online shop, you are legally obliged to provide certain information. The easiest way to meet this requirement is through correctly using Terms and Conditions (T&Cs). In this article, we’ll review how to update your Terms and Conditions.

### ***Adding terms and conditions***
**⚠ Important:** Having clear Terms and Conditions provides you with evidence to submit to Stripe in cases of [payment disputes submitted by your customers.](https://help.gotphoto.com/en/support/manage-customer-disputes-in-stripe-express?hsLang=en)Make sure you take the time to define your Terms and Conditions to maximize the potential of a favorable outcome. 1. 1To add your Terms and Conditions, go to the **Online Shop** page and click on **Terms** under **Legal & Company Information**.
2. 2Add your Terms and Conditions to the open text box. You can use the formatting toolbar as needed.
3. 3Click **Save**. Your changes will immediately go live in your online shop.
Once saved, customers will be prompted to confirm and agree to your Terms and Conditions during the order process. A receipt including your T&Cs will also be sent after a successful purchase.
