# How customers can download and extract photos on mobile devices

### **Overview**
Sometimes customers download their photos as a zip file but can’t find them or believe the download didn’t work. Just like on a computer, zip files must be **extracted** before the photos can be viewed.
Below are simple step-by-step instructions for iPhone and Android users. You can share these directly with your customers if needed.

### **Extracting zip files on iPhone**
1. 1**Download the zip file:** Tap the download link from an email or website to save the file.
2. 2**Open the Files app:** Locate the built-in “Files” app on your iPhone (or download it from the App Store if not installed).
3. 3**Find the zip file:** Navigate to the “Downloads” folder or “On My iPhone” section.
4. 4**Extract the file:** Tap the zip file. The contents will automatically extract into a folder with the same name.
5. 5**View your photos:** Open the new folder to access, save, or share your images.
