Want to customize the layout? Visit [this guide](https://help.gotphoto.com/en/support/editing-your-qr-card-layout?hsLang=en). 3. If you need to make layout changes after generating, select **Delete** from the Actions menu. Here’s how to generate extras: 1. Go to the job’s QR Cards tab. 2. Enter how many blank cards you require. You can download them via the **Actions** dropdown once generated. --- ### **Generating QR cards after adding additional subjects to the names list** If you’ve added new subjects to the names list and want to generate QR cards for those additions, without altering any previously created cards, here’s what you need to do: 1. Go to the photo job's **Tagging** tab. 2. **Delete** the existing batch of QR Cards. 3. Wait for them to be deleted and then click the blue **Generate QR Cards (PDF) Now** button. 4. New subjects will be added onto the PDF that gets generated. --- ### **Generating general extra blank QR cards** If you want a large batch of blank QR cards to use across any job, follow these steps: 1. In your job’s **Settings** tab, choose the QR-Tagging method. On the next screen: - Enter a batch name (e.g., "October 2024") - Choose how many cards to generate - **Optional:** Click **Edit QR card layout** to customize ![Create QR batch with editable fields.](https://help.gotphoto.com/hubfs/gotphoto-migration/nnshQZj5MK6bGpw-MIwPiCHBxmzmFzhAcg.png) 3. The cards will appear at the bottom of the page. Use **Actions → Download** or send them to a lab for printing. Note: These general QR cards are one-time use. Once used into a job, they should not be reused in a different job-unless you are using the same data in the other job(s). This is only relevant for a Senior or [Makeup jobs](https://help.gotphoto.com/en/support/set-up-and-manage-makeup-day-jobs?hsLang=en) (North America).  --- ### **FAQ** **Why are QR codes not generating with names, and how can I fix this issue?** If your QR codes aren’t generating with names, here are a few things to check: - Job settings:Make sure “QR Tagging with List of Names” is selected and that names are properly linked to the job—either through a names list upload or prepay registration. Names list accuracy: Double-check for formatting issues, missing subject data, or column errors. These can prevent names from appearing on QR cards. - File format: If names aren’t displaying correctly, your list may not be in UTF-8 format. This can cause characters to be misread. Regenerate if needed: - If there’s a mismatch or missing cards, delete the current QR cards and regenerate them. The existing codes will stay the same. Recent changes: If you've updated the names list, make sure all subjects are included. **Do I need to create QR card for group images?** No, you do not need QR cards for group or class photos. Group photos are accessible to all members of the respective group, so it is sufficient to simply take the group picture - a QR code is not required here. When uploading, you should ideally rename the group photos according to the group or class name and save them in separate subfolders. Then upload the images to the corresponding group photo area of your photo job, preferably using our [EasyUpload](https://help.gotphoto.com/en/support/upload-photos-with-easyupload?hsLang=en)tool for a fast and clear upload.
