# Activate your lab partner (UK Customers)

### **Overview**
GotPhoto partners with several major labs across the UK. When you activate a lab partner, orders from your shop or manual entries are automatically sent to the lab for fulfillment.
Before this can happen, you must first activate your preferred lab in your GotPhoto account.

### **Choosing a lab**
When selecting a lab, consider factors such as:
- Supported shipping methods (Direct, Batch, or both)
- Production quality
- Turnaround time
- Production and shipping costs
Review all lab partner offerings on the [Partner Labs page](https://app.gotphoto.co.uk/config_sell/index_labs) under **Products & Prices**.
To activate a lab, click the **Active** button next to the lab name.
Once activated, the button turns green:
We recommend activating only one lab at a time, as only that lab's products will be available when [building product packages](https://help.gotphoto.com/en/support/create-a-product-package?hsLang=en).
**Important:** Keep unused labs active to preserve price lists. Deactivating a lab removes its products from those lists.
